Early season, we recommend focusing on balanced leeches and balanced baitfish patterns under the indicator as the fish are still a bit spread out, so play around with your depth right now. This could vary depending on the beach but could be anywhere from 6 feet under the bobber, to 12+ feet. Historically in the early season, shore fishing is best on most of the southern beaches, but that’s definitely not to say you can’t find fish along the middle or northern areas of the lake right now.
